Confessions II

I confess... This has been a super tough week for our family financially and I've had to double my Xanax intake almost every day. Weddings are so stressful and so expensive. Especially when you have to remember your normal day to day bills and cost of living.

I confess... I would NEVER recommend a destination wedding to anyone who has issues with being in control.

I confess... Sometimes I really just want to go to the courthouse, get married right now and then go spend a week or two at the beach.

I confess... When I get this stressed out, all I want to do is shop. Which is totally counter productive to the reasons for my current stress situation.

I confess... I don't want to keep bumming out myself or you all. So here are some wedding inspiration photos from my Pinterest boards.

Engagement Pictures

We have been engaged for a little over three months and our wedding is EXACTLY two months from today. I've tried a total of three times to get a few engagement photos done and finally on the third try we achieved our (MY) goal. My brother was kind enough to lend us his talents (for free - my favorite price). He took the photos, with a little instruction from me, and I did the editing. I'm pretty proud of the results.

And the one that Andy insisted I take of him wearing his new sunglasses. Sometimes I really don't know which one of us is the girl.

January Favorites

I'm a photo person. I love taking pictures of my kids and all of the cute things they do. I've been trying to take more "selfies" of Andy and myself because we have so few photos of us together. I have a slight phobia of badly lit, blurry photos. Unfortunately, this is just something I'm having to learn to deal with thanks to my 18 month old and my 3 year old. Here are some of my favorites from January!

Confessions

I used to love the Wednesday Confessions linkup from my old blogger friend, Caitlin. I hated when she stopped doing it. Today marks the first day of the new linkup (bringing it back, y'all) and I'm so excited to join in the fun.

I confess... Andy and I started a workout program on February 1st. We got up at 6:30 AM and did the first workout before he got ready to go to work. On day 2, we did NOT work out. My excuse is that his brother was asleep on our couch and I didn't want to wake him up. And I did work out today! Andy still hasn't done a second work out.

I confess... I've chosen about 6 wedding dresses so far. Our wedding is in about 2 months and I can't make up my mind on a dress.

(The first dress I chose. It's been vetoed from the options because it's the most expensive.)

I confess... This is the first blog post I've written in over two months. I still haven't even shared our proposal story.

I confess... There's a lasagna in the oven right now. So much for my workout!
